This Friday night come on out to the Boomer Stadium to witness history! The WHS Softball team will receive their Academic All-State Trophy and medals during halftime.
The Boomers take on the Weatherford Eagles for Senior Night.
Game starts at 7pm.

XC team wrapped up their season in a big way today. The girls ran first and came home with two PRs, a new school record and some movement on the Record Board. Khloe beat her previous school record with a 12:37.95 finishing in 19th place. Jolie now sits 5th on the record board with a time of 13:45.17 finishing 79th. Kennedy Roach ran a great race and placed 61st. The boys team placed 15th. Dathan Custar is our 4A State Runner up. Holden Simmons- 22nd Luis Soto- 113 Ruben Salazar- 116 Trevyr Kniest- 126 Brayan Avila Lopez- 137 Carson Cornejo- 144. I cannot emphasize enough how proud I am of these athletes. Woodward you should be proud. We will have some continue their season in the Arkansas/Oklahoma dual on November 15th at Fayetteville, AR

Varsity Football game scheduled for Friday has been moved to Thursday.

Six Boomer softball players picked up honors this season as the 4A-3 All-District team was announced.
Kaleigh Mills earned the Pitcher of the year, Ella Howard was awarded All-District 2nd base, Bailey Nelson earned All-District Utility Player. Three Boomers received honorable mention seniors Lexi Mendell and Holly Wilson, and freshman Kaelyn Heckart.
Congratulations to these six Boomers for being recognized by the district coaches! Go Boom!

State Championship Bound! Khloe Clemence, Jolie Benesch, and Kennedy Roach punched their ticket this weekend to go to the state cross country meet @ North Rock Creek in Shawnee. Girls race begins at 8:30
Khloe placed 11th and is the new Woodward High School record holder with a time of 12m40s.
Jolie Benesch is also making her way on to the school record board and holds the 7th place record with a time of 13m53s.

Dathan and Khloe had the privilege to run at the Chile Pepper Meet held at Arkansas University. They also got to meet up and cheer on former Woodward runner, Brynn Custar, who is running for Murray State. This is one of the biggest Cross Country Races in the nation. Over 6500 runners from Collegiate to Junior high runners compete at this event.
Both Dathan and Khloe set PRs at this meet.

Dathan medaled at this meet placing 15th out of 726 combined runners.
Khloe placed 177th out of 594 combined runner.

Come out tomorrow night to Boomer Stadium to cheer on the Boomers as they take on the Cache Bulldogs. Military appreciation night to honor our service men and women. Free admission for those members in uniform with ID.

2025 Class 4A Fast-Pitch Softball Regional Tournament.
Just some reminders for the upcoming OSSAA State Playoffs for Fast Pitch Softball:
>Taking screenshots of tickets will not work as the ticket must be validated at the gate to enter the stadium for the tournament.
>Each day of the tournament is considered a session, so if you plan on attending both days of the tournament, you will need to purchase tickets for Wednesday and another set of tickets for Thursday.
>OSSAA Playoff Passes are the only passes that will be accepted for the Class 4A Fast-Pitch Softball Super Regional Tournament and these passes are also handled through the Go Fan App. A driver's license must be shown when presenting this pass. The pass grants entry only to the individual listed.
>Any school, faculty, and/or family passes will not be accepted as this is an OSSAA Playoff Event.
>I have included the ticket purchase links for both days of the tournament below as well as a link for GoFan Customer Support. Tickets will cost $8.35 ($7.00 + $1.35 processing fee) using GoFan.

Cash tickets are also available for purchase at the gate entrance at a cost of $10.00 per ticket. Each day is considered as a session so tickets that are redeemed for Wednesday of the tournament will not be valid on Thursday.

No other groups or individuals will be allowed to video live stream any of the games, this includes any fans.

Fastpitch Softball Regional Tournament this week in Lone Grove.

Come cheer on the FP Softball ladies tomorrow at 4pm--Boomer Field! Pink out!

The Woodard XC Teams did amazing at this meet. This is a college course with tons of steep hills, and it was blisteringly hot on the course. Setting PRS, Course Personal Best, and Season Best is a great accomplishment.
